Our concrete pump hire prices are all-in and agreed before we start. The price covers the pump, our operator and the lines. We arrange the concrete at the plant and include it in the quote. You get one figure, in writing, and that is what you pay. No extras on the day for things we could have seen beforehand.
What decides the price
The price depends on six things: volume, line length, access, height, extras and the type of concrete.
- Volume in m³: how much concrete or screed goes in. More volume means more concrete and more pumping time.
- Distance and line length: how far the line runs from the pump to the pour, anywhere from 20 to 400 metres.
- Access: where the mixer and pump can stand, how narrow the lane is, whether we pass through a gate or down steps.
- Height: pumping to a roof terrace or upper floor, up to 50 metres high.
- Extras: poker vibrator, laser levelling, synthetic fibres, a cement slurry to prime the line, or a finish such as power floated, polished, brushed or stamped.
- Type of concrete: the strength and mix for a foundation, a slab, a pool or liquid screed.
How to work out cubic metres
Multiply length by width by thickness, all in metres, to get the volume in m³.
| Job | Size | Thickness | Volume |
|---|---|---|---|
| Garden shed base | 3 x 3 m | 0.10 m | 0.9 m³ |
| Patio | 6 x 5 m | 0.10 m | 3 m³ |
| Driveway | 12 x 3.5 m | 0.15 m | 6.3 m³ |
| Screed floor | 60 m² | 0.05 m | 3 m³ |
These are worked examples of the sum, not recommended thicknesses. We or your builder can advise on the right thickness for your job. For L-shaped areas, split them into rectangles and add them together.
The quickest way to a fixed price
Send us a photo of your access on WhatsApp and you get a fixed price back quickly.
Tell us the town or urbanisation, what you are pouring and the approximate size. Then add photos of the street outside, the gate or entrance, and the spot where the concrete has to go. That shows us where the pump can stand and how much line we need. WhatsApp or call +34 633 361 962, or use our quote form.
Why a fixed price matters
A fixed price means you know the full cost before the concrete is ordered.
For a builder or pool contractor, it means the pour can be costed into the job before it starts. For an owner, it means one written figure and no surprises. One point of contact deals with you, your builder and the Spanish concrete plant, and the quote and invoice can be in English. A pour usually gets booked within three working days. It works the same whether we quote you directly or pump for your builder. Tight site? The price for our mini concrete pump for narrow access is worked out the same way. Several pours coming up? See concrete pumping for builders.
Prices: common questions
Is the concrete included in the price?
Yes. We order the concrete at the plant and include it in our quote, together with the pump, operator and lines.
Why don't you publish a price per hour or per m³?
Because access, line length and height vary so much from site to site on this coast. A quote based on your photos is more accurate and fixed.
Can the price change on the day?
No, not for anything we agreed or could see in advance. If you change the job itself, for example a larger area, we agree the difference with you first.
