Looking for a concrete pump in Altea? Our base in La Nucía is just inland from Altea, so we are never far away. We bring a compact truck-mounted Putzmeister pump with our own operator, arrange the concrete and pump it where it needs to go: up a hillside villa plot, through a community gate or down a narrow street near the old town.
Close to home: why that helps your pour
Altea is one of the closest towns to our base, which makes planning and timing easier.
Concrete work depends on timing. Your builder wants the pump when the steel is fixed and the formwork is checked, not a day later. Being nearby makes it easier to fit around the schedule of your builder or pool contractor. We can usually book a pour within three working days, and the travel is included in the fixed price.
Gated communities such as Altea Hills
In gated urbanisations like Altea Hills, a compact pump and a long line solve most access problems.
Altea Hills is a gated community of villas and apartments on the steep slopes above the town, with winding roads and sea views. Sites like these come with their own challenges: an entrance barrier, narrow bends, limited parking for a mixer and neighbours close by. Our truck-mounted static pump takes up far less space than a boom pump, and the line can run up to 400 metres from where the lorry can stop. If your community requires notice of deliveries, let us know when you book and we plan the date around it.
The Sierra de Altea and Altea la Vella
Inland, around the Sierra de Altea and Altea la Vella, plots are larger and often on sloping ground with a pool and terraces.
These quieter areas near the golf course have more space, but the concrete still has to get from the road to the back of the plot. Typical jobs are pool slabs and surrounds, patios, foundations for an extension and driveways. See concrete for swimming pools and concrete driveways and patios.
Town houses near the old town
Altea's old town is pedestrianised with narrow cobbled streets, so concrete has to be pumped in from where a vehicle can stop.
For renovations in and around the historic centre, the mixer and pump stay at the nearest permitted point and the line is run in by hand. Our pump reaches up to 400 metres horizontally and up to 50 metres high. For a floor renovation, liquid screed is often the easiest option: from 2.5 cm thick and walkable after one day. For more on tight sites, see our mini concrete pump for narrow access.
One contact, one price
You deal with the same person from quote to pour, and get one fixed price before we start.
The price covers pump, operator and lines, with the concrete ordered by us. We work for builders and pool contractors, or directly for you. One point of contact talks to the owner, the builder and the Spanish concrete plant, so there are no misunderstandings on pour day. When we leave, the street is clean.
Don and Ari came on time very clean and a pleasure to work with
