A concrete pump in Finestrat is mostly about new builds. Over the last few decades the hills between the old village and Benidorm have filled with villa developments, and every one of them needs foundations, slabs, a pool and floors. We come over from La Nucía with our truck-mounted static pump, our own operator and all the lines, working for builders, developers and pool contractors as well as owners.
Liquid screed in Finestrat: a real job
In Finestrat we pumped 7 m³ of liquid screed.
Liquid screed (mortero autonivelante) is our speciality. It is pumped in as a liquid, finds its own level and leaves a flat floor ready for tiles. It goes down from 2.5 cm thick and you can walk on it the next day. It also suits underfloor heating, which you find in a lot of new homes. With the pump, the screed goes in through a door or window and reaches every room without buckets or barrows. Read more about liquid screed.
Sierra Cortina and Balcón de Finestrat
Sierra Cortina and Balcón de Finestrat are hillside developments of sea-view villas on steep, terraced plots.
Homes here are built on levels: garage at the bottom, pool on a terrace, garden in steps. The roads wind and climb, and there is not always room for a big boom pump to put its outriggers down. Our pump is mounted on a compact lorry. It parks on the road beside the mixer and we run up to 400 metres of line, or go up to 50 metres high. That gets the concrete to the pool, the garage slab or the top terrace. For pool work, see concrete for your swimming pool.
The old village under the Puig Campana
Finestrat's old village sits high up at the foot of the Puig Campana, with narrow, steep streets.
Jobs here are usually renovations of village houses where big lorries cannot get in. With our compact pump the line runs along the street and through the front door to the courtyard or upper floor. If access is really tight, read about our mini concrete pump for narrow access. The village gets busy in summer and during the fiestas, so pick your date with care and check with the town hall if you need to use the street.
La Cala de Finestrat
La Cala de Finestrat is the seaside part of the town, right next to Benidorm, with apartments and houses close together.
For slabs, terraces or ground-floor renovations, the pump lorry takes up little space and the line goes wherever it is needed. We pump slabs, foundations, patios, driveways and stamped concrete.
Close to our yard
Finestrat is about 15 km from La Nucía, around 20 minutes by road.
We order the concrete from the plant and coordinate the lorries. The price is all in: pump, operator and lines, fixed before we start. See how our pump hire prices are worked out. We can usually book you in within three working days. One point of contact talks to the owner, the builder and the Spanish concrete plant, so there are no misunderstandings on pour day.
