Bombeos de Hormigón Costa Blanca is a concrete pumping business based in La Nucía, in the Marina Baixa. It is run by Anthony Vermarien as a self-employed trader. We pump concrete and liquid screed for builders, developers, pool contractors and villa owners across the Costa Blanca, always with our own pumps and our own operators.
Who we are
We are a small, hands-on team: Anthony runs the business, and operators including Don, Oliver and Ricardo run the pumps on site.
Those names come up again and again in our Google reviews, which tells you something about how we work. The person who answers your WhatsApp is part of the same small team that turns up on the day. There is no call centre and no subcontracting the pump out to someone you have never heard of.
Don and Oliver were awesome, on time, excellent clean up and they clearly know what they are doing. Highly recommend and will have them back for some other work in the future

More than 30 years of pumping experience
Concrete pumping knowledge has been in the family for more than 30 years.
Pumping looks simple until something goes wrong. Choosing where to set the pump, priming the line, keeping the mix moving through a long line and up a steep garden, cleaning out properly: that comes from years of doing it. We bring that experience to every job, from a small shed base to a full villa slab.
Our equipment
We work with truck-mounted Putzmeister static pumps that handle up to 35 m³ an hour, with 20 to 400 metres of line.
Our pump lorry is compact. It gets down narrow streets where a boom pump can't, and the line carries on through gateways and gardens where a mixer lorry can't. That is why we chose it for this coast, where so many homes sit on steep plots reached by narrow lanes. The pump reaches up to 400 metres horizontally and up to 50 metres high. How we work
One point of contact, one fixed price agreed up front, and a clean site when we leave.
- One point of contact: we talk to the owner, the builder and the Spanish concrete plant in Spanish, English or Dutch, so there are no misunderstandings on pour day.
- All arranged: we order the concrete at the plant and bring pump, operator and lines.
- Fixed price: agreed before we start, no surprises.
- Quick scheduling: usually within three working days.
- For builders or directly for owners: we work for builders, developers and pool contractors, and quote owners directly.
